Since it’s first bottling in 1982, our CORLEY ‘RESERVE’ Cabernet Sauvignon has been our flagship wine.

We utilize the strengths of each of our five cabernet sauvignon vineyards and the diversity of four distinct sub-Appellations - Rutherford, Yountville, St. Helena and Oak Knoll District - to give us the luxury of producing a full, rich and complex Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.

Typically luscious, powerful and richly textured our RESERVE is full-bodied and while ready to drink is also a wine to lay down for the years to come. This wine once again shows nice consistency and balance throughout the entire experience – from the aromatics through to the finish. The mouth-feel is rich in texture and with a finish framed by firm but rounded velvety tannins, one of the hallmarks of this wine.

Vineyard Notes
The 2016 vintage represents another year of phenomenal quality wines from our vineyards and across Napa Valley. The near-perfect 2016 growing season started early, saw ideal weather conditions throughout and wrapped up as the valley's first significant fall rainstorm arrived on October 14th. All of our fruit was picked before this rain. Thanks to a relatively steady and mild July and August and then a series of warm days at the end of the growing season, our vineyards were able to progress to perfect ripeness. The wines from 2016 are displaying ripe fruit, great structure and balance.
Production Notes
All individual vineyard blocks were hand-picked and fermented separately. The fruit was destemmed and berry sorted on the crush pad. Fermentations lasted an average of 16 days with the wine drained and pressed at dryness. Malolactic fermentation took place in barrels. The wine was aged in French oak barrels for 26 months - 1/2 new French oak, 1/2 neutral oak. The wine was racked every six months. Barrel selection and blending took place at 18 months aging, 8 months prior to bottling.
Winemaker Notes
We suggest decanting for 30-60 minutes prior to serving.
