We were driving along on a rainy day and decided to stop by at Monticello. I did call ahead and let them know we were gonna stop by and they were happy to take us. We were also with my 3 year old so they do allow kids. Since it was raining they sat us in a small area of their barrel room. All of the wines were delicious. We actually left with 3 bottles! Our host was good but I wish she talked to us a little more about the property and history. Kevin one of the owners did stop and talked to us a bunch which we loved! After we left we forgot my son’s headphones. We happened to be next door and Kevin drove them to us! Thank you Kevin! This is why we love Napa. The people are the best. We will be back next time and hopefully it’s sunny so we can sit outside.
Been a club member for two years, and monticello has set a new standard both for wines and winery experiences. Every time we come here we are welcome like family. In our most recent visit we were greeted by Hayden, who told us the story of his family in winemaking, and all the details of the work it takes to make their exceptional wines.
If you're going to visit one winery, I can't recommend another one more highly

We had such a great time at Monticello Winery! The grounds are beautiful, and the wines were fantastic. Our host Michael made the experience — he was super friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel right at home. Definitely a must-visit spot in Napa!

Very nice hidden gem. Michael explained the history of the winery and the area. Also explained the different types of grapes. Cool and breezy. Answer all of our questions.

If you are going... Be ready! There is only one staff available to help!

Not sure why, but we only see one person on-site!

There is no fancy wine tasting changing to new glasses each time you drink... It's very down to earth and self-served.

However, one of their wines is actually really good! More sweet based and less tannin, very smooth to buy a bottle and share.
Monticello Vineyard is truly a hidden gem in Napa. While other wineries may be more famous, they often feel rushed or impersonal — that’s absolutely not the case here. The experience was relaxed, welcoming, and full of genuine hospitality. The wines are absolutely outstanding — each one with character and depth that made the tasting memorable. As a Latino visitor, I felt truly welcomed, which made the visit even more meaningful. We brought a small child with us and were treated with such kindness and ease, something you don’t always find. The gardens are peaceful and beautifully maintained — a perfect place to slow down and enjoy. I’ll absolutely return every time I come back to Napa. Highly recommended.
Monticello Winery is a true gem that offers an unforgettable wine experience. From the moment you step onto the property, you’re greeted by breathtaking views of lush vineyards and a serene, picturesque landscape that feels like a slice of Tuscany. The staff is exceptionally welcoming, knowledgeable, and passionate about their craft, making the entire visit feel both personal and educational.

The wines themselves are nothing short of spectacular. Their bold reds, particularly the Cabernet Sauvignon, are full-bodied and complex, while their crisp whites like Chardonnay are perfectly balanced. Each sip is a testament to the winery’s dedication to quality and tradition.

The tasting room is elegantly designed, offering both indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy the stunning surroundings. Whether you’re a seasoned wine enthusiast or just beginning your journey into fine wines, Monticello Winery offers something for everyone.

If you’re looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion, enjoy a peaceful afternoon, or simply indulge in world-class wine, Monticello Winery is a must-visit. It’s not just a winery; it’s an experience that stays with you long after the last glass. Highly recommend!
Our Story

Rooted in Napa Valley

The Corley Family planted roots, literally, here in 1970, becoming the first stewards of this land to cultivate grapes and begin the rituals of winemaking during Napa Valley’s second renaissance. For over 56 years, we’ve remained grounded in a consistent philosophy: land-focused, people-centric, and connection-driven.

Hosting guests on our estate is an extension of that philosophy. When you visit Monticello, you experience what a working estate truly is, a living connection between the land, the people who farm it, the hands that shape the wine, and those who share it in your glass.

Monticello is the result of many hands, much heart, and a shared mission to create moments, memories, and connection through wine. From the cool breeze that settles over the vineyard in the afternoons to the rustling leaves and birdsong, every part of this place holds something quiet and special. It’s a rhythm we’ve been infatuated with since day one.
