(MAGNUM) This Cabernet Sauvignon from the Tietjen Vineyard in Rutherford offers fantastic aromas of rich, ripe, red berry fruit with undertones of sweet vanillin oak and hints of caramel. On the palate, the wine is massive, with a wonderful core of fruit on the full mid-palate. The balance of the wine from front to back is impeccable. The finish is long and carries the fruit beautifully.
This wine has attractive aromas of dark, ripe blackberry and raspberry with undertones of cola and cinnamon. On the palate, the wine introduces itself with confidence followed by a round, full body in the mid-palate. For a Pinot Noir bursting with vim and vigor, it is nicely framed by its elegant acidity. This robust expression of Pinot Noir is true to its varietal. The wine displays deep, dark ripe berry flavors on the palate through to a long and lingering finish. Drink now through 2025.
38% CABERNET SAUVIGNON 36% MERLOT 26% CABERNET FRANC Dark, luscious aromas and flavors of blackberry, anise with undercurrents of lightly toasted oak and hints of vanilla. There is a hint of pepper, and nice waves of ripe dark berry fruit on the palate. The wine has a nice spiciness on the palate that lingers through to the finish. On the palate the wine is rich in texture, with a full-bodied midpalate, and moderate tannins which frame the wine beautifully.
