This wine displays expressive aromas of dark black and blue berries, cassis, mocha and hints of sweet toasted vanilla oak and spice tones. On the palate the wine is richly textured, wonderfully balanced from front to back with dark ripe flavors, full body, and robust tannins. The full finish goes on and on. Drink through 2038.
38% CABERNET SAUVIGNON 36% MERLOT 26% CABERNET FRANC Dark, luscious aromas and flavors of blackberry, anise with undercurrents of lightly toasted oak and hints of vanilla. There is a hint of pepper, and nice waves of ripe dark berry fruit on the palate. The wine has a nice spiciness on the palate that lingers through to the finish. On the palate the wine is rich in texture, with a full-bodied midpalate, and moderate tannins which frame the wine beautifully.

Continuing along my musical theme from above, this wine‟s opening stanza is a medley of blueberry, blackberry, floral and sweet oak tones. The chorus is lovely, the tannins laying down a solid rhythmic bass line, while the berry aromatics and dark fruit flavors entertain with an “echo” jam evoking some of the old-school boogie-woogie piano jams of old.
