Our CORLEY Proprietary Red Wine is a rich and opulent blend of Cabernet Sauvignon,
Cabernet Franc and Merlot displaying the full, rich, deep, dark concentrated flavors of
Cabernet Sauvignon with the body and spiciness of Cabernet Franc and the fruit and
suppleness of Merlot. The wine has aromatics of dark red berry laced with cassis, anise,
black-currant; the entry is smooth and well textured from attack through to the long
finish of ripe berry flavors and creamy toasty oak.
Vintage Vintage 2001 is another classic for Napa Valley. It will be remembered for its early start
and consistent summer weather. The conditions produced healthy vineyards that delivered
seamlessly ripe, well-balanced, aromatic and flavorful wines.

In 1990 we envisioned a rich opulent wine blended from Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. We were already producing world-class Cabernet Sauvignon that is grown in Yountville, Rutherford and St Helena and Merlot that is grown on our two vineyards in the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley so we planted three different clones of Cabernet Franc (Clone 'X', #332 and #312) in two sites each on our Home Ranch Vineyard and our Knollwood Vineyard, both in the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley.

All of our library wines are extremely limited in availability, in some cases just 2-3 cases of these wines remain. We have taken great care that these they have been cellared in here at our winery in the best of conditions. But because of age we must ask that these wines are sold as-is and purchases are limited to 3 bottles.
